FAQ
Queue questions, answered.
Can I run both walk-in and slot-based booking?
Yes. The Hybrid mode runs walk-in tokens and pre-booked slots on the same queue. Walk-ins fill empty slots. Booked patients keep their slot. Wait time is computed across both, in real time.
Do I have to approve every booking?
No — booked slots are auto-accepted by default. The cron auto-marks them en_route before their slot. The FD only intervenes for exceptions (reassign, mark no-show, manual insert).
Can patients book online without an account?
Yes. The public booking widget is embeddable on any website. Patients enter name + phone; OTP-verify; pick a slot. Account is auto-created on the patient app side.
How does no-show handling work?
A booked patient who hasn't checked in 2 hours past their slot is auto-marked no-show. The slot frees up. If they show up later, the FD can undo with one tap and re-insert.
Can I have different queues per doctor?
Yes. Each doctor has their own column on the FD dashboard. The FD can reassign a patient from one doctor's queue to another with a tap (e.g. when one doctor is overloaded).
