MediSero+ for Dermatology

Visual medicine,
organised.

Half the value of a derm consult is the photo — taken now, compared to last visit, tagged to a body region. MediSero+ builds the workflow around the camera: capture, tag, compare, prescribe, follow up.

What's tuned for dermatology

Six places dermatology gets specific.

Universal core (voice notes, Rx, queue, billing, patient app) plus the six items below — all auto-loaded the moment you tag your specialty as Dermatology.

In-visit photo capture
Open the chart, tap Capture, snap. Photos auto-tag to the visit, body region, and lesion. No camera-roll mess, no separate folder per patient.
Body-map tagging
Tap a region on a body diagram (front / back, head / torso / limbs). The lesion log stitches all photos for that region across visits into one timeline.
Before / after compare
Side-by-side photo comparison across visits. Pick any two dates, compare lesion size / colour / spread. Patient sees the same view in their app.
Biopsy + path tracker
Punch / shave / excisional biopsy logged with site, technique, suture date. Path report links back. Auto-due reminder for follow-up + suture removal.
Derm Rx protocols
Acne (mild → moderate → severe), eczema (face / body / steroid potency), psoriasis (topical → phototherapy → biologic), isotretinoin protocol with iPLEDGE-style monitoring.
Clio for derm
Differential weighting tuned for visual derm — eczema vs psoriasis vs tinea, melanoma vs benign nevus, drug eruption vs viral exanthem. Surfaces ABCDE on pigmented lesions.
The photo workflow

Capture, tag, compare — all from the chart.

No more screenshots, no more camera-roll, no more 'which folder did I put that scalp pic in?'. Every photo lives on the visit, the lesion, and the patient — auto-stitched into a timeline.

Rx protocols

Stepwise treatments, one tap.

Acne, eczema, psoriasis, isotretinoin — pre-built protocols that you tap through. Faster than typing, safer than memory, every step cites the source guideline.

Acne ladder

Mild → topical retinoid + benzoyl peroxide. Moderate → add doxycycline 100mg BD × 12 weeks. Severe / nodulocystic → isotretinoin 0.5–1 mg/kg/day with monthly LFT + lipid + pregnancy test. Each rung is a one-tap protocol.

Eczema by region

Face → low-potency steroid (hydrocortisone 1%) or topical calcineurin (tacrolimus 0.03%). Body → mid-potency (mometasone). Thick / lichenified → high-potency (clobetasol). Pre-built rules for max-duration + taper.

Psoriasis stepwise

Localised → topical steroid + vitamin D analogue. Widespread → narrowband UVB phototherapy referral. Refractory / PsA → biologic referral (anti-TNF / IL-17 / IL-23). Each step has the eligibility checklist baked in.

Isotretinoin monitoring

Baseline LFT + lipids + pregnancy test (women of childbearing potential). Monthly recheck during course. Two-form contraception confirmed. Course typically 6–8 months at 120–150 mg/kg cumulative. All cadences auto-scheduled.

The before / after compare changed my acne practice. Patients who used to ghost at month 3 now stay through the full course because they can actually see the difference. The system tells the story for me.

FAQ

Derm-specific questions, answered.

Can I take photos directly inside the consult?

Yes — the in-app camera opens from the chart, captures the photo at the right resolution, and auto-attaches it to the active visit, body region, and (optionally) a specific lesion. No need to use the device gallery, no manual filing. Photos are encrypted at rest and never leave your tenant.

How does body-map tagging work?

When you capture a photo, you tap the body region on a diagram (face, scalp, arms, trunk, legs, etc.) and optionally drop a lesion pin. From then on, every photo of that region for that patient stitches into one timeline so you can see how the lesion is evolving — without scrolling through every visit.

Can patients see their own before / after?

Yes — they see the same compare view in the patient app, with your before / after pairs. This is huge for adherence: a patient who can see her acne actually clearing on isotretinoin is far less likely to drop the course at month 3.

Does it handle biopsy + path workflow?

Yes. Log the biopsy with site, technique (punch / shave / excisional), and suture date if applicable. The system auto-schedules suture removal and the path-report follow-up. When path lands, you attach the report and Clio cross-references with the original diagnosis to flag concordance.

How does Clio help on suspicious lesions?

Two ways. (1) On any pigmented lesion photo, Clio surfaces the ABCDE checklist (asymmetry, border, colour, diameter, evolution) as structured prompts — you confirm or override. (2) Differential weighting: your dermoscopy + history input narrows the list from "anything pigmented" to a ranked differential. Clio is advisory, not diagnostic.

What about teledermatology?

Patients can submit photos with a brief intake form via the patient app. The visit lands in your queue as a teleconsult. You review, ask follow-up via secure messaging, and write the Rx — same workflow, same chart. India telemedicine guidelines respected.
